Data Protection & Privacy

In accordance with the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, any records of our sessions and personal information will be kept confidential and held in secure manner. I am registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZC242268. You can verify this status at any time on the ICO Register of Fee Payers.

Confidentiality

Everything we discuss during your counselling sessions is kept strictly confidential. There are a few legal exceptions designed to ensure your safety, and I will explain these clearly during our first meeting. If I do need to disclose information for these purposes, I will try to do so in discussion with you and with your prior consent.

As part of my commitment to ethical practice and quality care, I regularly participate in supervision. My supervisor adheres to the same strict confidentiality and ethical standards as I do.
