Ethics
I am a registered member of the BACP (No. 415251) and follow their ethical ethical guidelines, which includes a confidentiality agreement.
Everything we discuss during your counselling sessions is kept strictly confidential. There are a few legal exceptions designed to ensure your safety, and I will explain these clearly during our first meeting.
Your records are securely protected in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act. No information about you will be shared with any third party unless it is absolutely necessary to safeguard your well-being or that of others.
As part of my commitment to ethical practice and quality care, I regularly participate in supervision. My supervisor adheres to the same strict confidentiality and ethical standards as I do.
I am dedicated to continually enhancing my skills through ongoing training and self-reflection. My practice is fully insured by Towergate.
