About Me

My diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy is through The Minster Centre where I am currently working towards my MA and Advanced Diploma. My approach draws on a range of modalities, philosophies and approaches which I adapt to suit each client’s specific needs. I have worked with people from a diverse range of backgrounds as a counsellor for the charity Mind and for a private low-cost therapy service.

My values are rooted in intersectional feminism and critical perspectives on psychiatry. This informs my commitment to creating a practice that is inclusive, affirming, and respectful of difference. I hold in mind the dynamics of power - both in the wider world and within the therapy room. Whatever our differences may be, I hope we can explore and understand these together.

My background is in art and design. I previously worked as a jeweller and within the wellness field before retraining in psychotherapy, inspired by my own experience of talking therapy. I therefore believe it can not only support you through challenging times but also be truly transformative. If you would like to find out more about how I work, please use the link below.
